One People, Many Paths: Sacred Art of Altars

One People, Many Paths: Sacred Art of Altars is the 18th annual artist-based auction fundraiser hosted by Celebration Circle where 60+ artists share their creativity using a hand crafted wooden box, identical in shape and size, 12” x 16”. As the artists express their divine creative inspiration, the boxes are transformed and each completed piece exhibits its own uniqueness in an eye-popping array of colors and media. At the end of the closing reception and final bidding, each altar receives a new home. Perhaps one will become yours!

We encourage to you to come see the altars in person at the San Antonio Art League and Museum at 130 King William St, 78204 from September 1 – 15, 2022: the exhibit is open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10 am -3 pm with special receptions as follows:

September 1: OPENING RECEPTION + MEET THE ARTISTS

5- 8 pm

and

September 15: CLOSING RECEPTION + BIDDING ENDS

5- 8 pm
