Mural por una Acogida artivista/ Wall painting for an Artivist Welcome

Juntas En la misma dirección (Together In the same direction) invites you to participate in this initiative. The objective is to generate a participative space to improve the welcoming to migrant people in Tenerife through artivism.

Since last 11th December participants of Juntas En la misma dirección are designing a Welcoming Project. The group agreed to use artivism and the chosen technique has been Mural Painting in a strategic and visible location. From then, we have celebrate five meetings to work on the design of the wall painting. Next 10th of September we will meet to collect all the contributions to add to the Mural painting. People will bring pictures, photos, writings, … will be incorporated in this artistic initiative focused in the theme of welcoming migrant people to the island of Tenerife.

The mural is schedule to take place next October 2022 in Padre Anchieta roundabout one of the most crowded places in the island and main entry point to the city of San Cristobal de La Laguna, historical and university city of the island.
