Community-wide Coloring Contest

Join the Needham Community Council in partnership with Needham Public Schools Nutrition Services for our Welcome Week coloring contest!

Open to all students in the community, on the back page of the September lunch menu learn how to be part of Welcoming Week!  Each student is invited to submit a drawing of things that they do to foster a feeling of belonging and extend a welcoming hand in and around Needham.

HOW TO PARTICPATE

1.Think about times when you have felt welcome and included and then
think about what you can do to be a welcoming person!
2.Take a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper and draw a picture of what you would
do to make someone feel welcome.
3.Write a sentence or two to describe your picture. (A grown up can help.)
On the back, write your name, school, your parent’s phone number &
email.
4.Drop your picture off at the Needham Community Council, 570 Hillside
Avenue OR Learning Express, 53 Chestnut Street by SEPTEMBER 30.
Pictures will be displayed on the windows of the Needham Community
Council.

5. On October 5, we will randomly draw 9 names to win Learning Express
gift cards!
