Community Picnic

Global Friends Coalition is hosting the 16th annual Community Picnic at University Park on Sunday, September 18th from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free food available from ethnic restaurants as well as traditional all-beef hotdogs. Co-hosts are the Liberian Community and they will be there to share some of their history and culture. Games for children, resources available in the community for families will be available. A short presentation will take place at 5:30 p.m. with leaders from the City participating including Grand Forks’ Teacher of the Year, Ivona Todorovic. All this and more will be part of Welcoming Week 2022!
