Megan Gonzalez

As Welcoming America’s Network and Events Coordinator, Megan Gonzalez supports Welcoming Network members in addition to virtual and in-person events.

Megan received her BA in international relations and global studies with a minor in graphic design from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. In her most recent position with the Arts & Science Council, she was a program specialist for the Culture Blocks program that hosted arts and science events in various underserved communities throughout Mecklenburg County in North Carolina. She continues to provide community work and support as a board member of Latin Americans Working for Achievement to advance Latinx education in the Charlotte area.

Megan lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and is a member of the OBRA Collective which is an advocacy, immigration, and Latinx-based art collective.
