Isaac Grody-Patinkin
Isaac Grody-Patinkin serves as a Senior Regional Manager at Welcoming America where he works with the network team. In this position, he is responsible for supporting and connecting network members, implementing key programs and initiatives focused on community-wide immigrant inclusion strategy and the cultivation of a culture where everyone belongs.
Isaac joined the Welcoming America team after six years working at the intersection of health equity and community education in a remote public health district in southern Colorado. There, he supported rural and remote organizations in building their capacity to stay in the messy work of reweaving community across difference.
He has a lifelong passion for bringing together unlikely characters in the service of healing justice and bridging divides with the tools of proximity, curiosity, and humility in communities ranging from Alaska to Guatemala, and treasures moments when people with vastly different lived experiences begin to see each other as human beings.
Isaac holds a master’s degree in community education from Goddard College. He is most at peace in the mountains, caring for infants and toddlers, or planting a garden. He currently resides in the Hudson Valley of New York, where he lives with his wife, son, and dog.
