Home Ground Live! –A Welcoming Week Poetic Dance and Music Performance

“Home Ground Live,” a Welcoming Week event, is a one-day performance that extends the “Home Ground” interactive exhibit, which is on display August 12th through September 25th, 2022 at the VALA Art Center. “Home Ground Live!” is a poetic dance and music performance that takes place on the Buoyant Stage in Downtown Park in Redmond, WA on Sunday, September 11th at 4:00pm.  “Home Ground” reminds visitors of how their communities are ecosystems that flourish through many perspectives. The artists model ways of rebuilding community and moving forward in a post-pandemic world with hope. The driving idea behind “Home Ground” is to encourage participants to approach their everyday lives with curiosity and close observation.
