Welcome: Hope in the community begins with us! – ¡Bienvenidos: Esperanza en la comunidad comienza con nosotros!

The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System and the Latino Advisory Board of the County Executive’s Office of Latino Affairs presents a bilingual, English and Spanish, festival in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Welcoming Week, Welcome: Hope in the community begins with us! Come and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with music, dancing, and stories, and much more!

Event is free! Registrations are not required but recommended on eventbrite or call (240) 455-5451.  The festival will be a picnic, bring your chairs and or blanket to sit on. There will be additional parking and don’t forget your face coverings!

Activities — musical performances, connect with community resources, storytelling, crafts, face painting, international line dancing, COVID 19 vaccinations, Food trucks

  • The library is accessible using the following bus routes: Metrobus F4 or The Bus 16.
  • Rain date: October 2, 2021, 12 – 4 pm
