Newcomer Resource Fair
In celebration of Welcoming Week 2021, the YWCA of San Antonio in collaboration with City of San Antonio Immigration Liaison will host the 2nd Annual Newcomer Resource Fair on Saturday September 18, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at YWCA Olga Madrid Community Center at 503 Castroville Rd. San Antonio TX. The fair is free and open to the public.
The event will feature information tables, mini-workshops, free legal consultations, an award ceremony recognizing immigrant entrepreneurs, a COVID-19 vaccination clinic, and a panel discussion. The event will focus on five main areas of interest: Education, Economic Empowerment, Health, Family entertainment, and Legal Services. The goal of the fair is to connect newcomers to San Antonio with resources and relationships that will help them adjust to life in their new home.
