The Jersey City Division of Immigrant Affairs HHS invites nonprofit organizations, local leaders, and stakeholders to the 2021 Immigrant Affairs Symposium—a celebration of services and friendship within immigrant communities.
10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. — USCIS Citizenship Oath Ceremony

Free parking available
Liberty State Park Commission and USCIS will welcome 40 new Americans as they take their Oath within view of the Statue of Liberty. This event is not sponsored by Jersey City Immigrant Affairs, but is open to the public. We encourage you to attend in the morning, before coming to the nearby Symposium. If you plan to attend, please clarify during your registration.

Free parking available on site
A celebratory program featuring local leaders, success stories, music, and affirmations. Lunch will be served, with vegan & halal options. Reflection and sharing activities, as well as a group photo. Please register now, if you plan to attend.
**Please note: Changes in COVID-19 safety protocols may result in unforeseen limitations to the number of guests at both events, as well as other safety protocols. We will keep registered guests informed as we approach the Sept 17 Citizenship Day celebrations. **
Rain Location:
In the event of rain, the Symposium date will not change and the event will be moved to the CRRNJ Historic Erie Train Terminal on the north side of Liberty State Park located at 1 Audrey Zapp Drive. We will inform registered guests via e-mail and/or text message within 48 hours of the event if there is a location change due to rain. Free parking will still be available at the rain location.
