Immigrants Are Us: The (G)eneration Project

In celebration of Welcoming Week 2021, Immigrants Are Us: The (G)eneration Project, in partnership with Welcome Home Jersey City, Jersey City Free Public Library, and WalkBye, present an interactive public history event in the Journal Square PATH Plaza. We are ALL immigrants! At this pop-in event, participants can discuss and explore their family’s immigration history, and contribute to a community project that will be archived by the Library. Participants can also learn about the work Welcome Home Jersey City is doing in the community to support the housing, social, educational, and economic needs of refugees, asylees, and asylum seekers, and find out how to get involved.
