Belonging Begins With US Campaign

Since 2012, Welcoming Week is an annual campaign and celebration led by Welcoming America to showcase the growing movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants.

The County of Santa Clara’s Office of Immigrant Relations, the City of San José’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, and the Refugee & Immigrant Forum of Santa Clara County are partnering to celebrate this year’s Welcoming Week. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the values that unite us as neighbors, allies, and colleagues, and to make our communities more welcoming to all those who call Santa Clara County home.

The theme for Welcoming Week 2021 is “Belonging Begins With US.” From September 13th – September 17th, we will launch a social media campaign to showcase short video reels portraying what belonging looks like for members of our immigrant community.
