Jenny Diaz

Jenny Diaz is the Certified Welcoming Program Manager. In her role, she is responsible for assessing communities participating in the Certified Welcoming program against the Welcoming Standard and helps set up Welcoming Network members for a phenomenal Certified Welcoming experience.

As a child of immigrants, Jenny felt called to politics and public service from a very young age. She has experience in city government, political campaigns, and data management. She was also the Community Outreach Coordinator for Girls Rock Cincinnati which is a summer camp for girls and gender-variant youth in greater Cincinnati where they can learn and grow through music, art, and community building.

Jenny has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Ohio State University. Jenny was born in Los Angeles, CA, and lived in Columbus and Cincinnati, OH before moving to Wichita, KS where she now currently lives with her partner, Keenan, and their dog, Frida.
